Dr. Buglino is a Long Island native, raised in Nassau County. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Cornell University as a dual major in Nutrition and Health Services as well as Biology and Society. Dr. Buglino earned his medical degree from the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale Florida. He completed his general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, an academic affiliate of the Weill Cornell Medical College, serving his final year as chief resident. As a general surgery resident, he trained extensively at The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Buglino completed a highly competitive post graduate fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, one of only four of its kind. Dr. Buglino has trained with leading surgeons at top medical centers including Jefferson University Hospital, Hahneman Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Westchester Hospital/New York Medical College, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and The Reading Hospital.
