REB Storage Systems International specializes in the design,
manufacture, distribution, installation and repair of material handling
and records storage systems. Since 1962 our mission has been to provide
our customers with innovative ways to maximize space, increase
productivity and efficiency. We are seeking an experienced and driven
Project Manager to join our new Remediation team!
Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of
remediation projects in material handling systems, primarily in the
records storage industry. Key responsibilities include: surveying,
scheduling, maximizing profit, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
• Lead a team of Project Engineers, vendors and subcontractors on Remediation projects.
• Survey customer facilities
o Accurately mark-up drawings locating remediation needs
o Review facility for access and removal requirements
o Obtain proper measurements
o Locate damaged product
o Identify product type
o Provide solutions for remediation requirements
• Review all bids and place orders for all required materials and subcontractors
o Evaluate all bids based on lead time, quality, and price
o Look for opportunities to reduce cost
o Negotiate with vendors to increase profit
o Check all BOM and orders for accuracy
• Prepare project schedule and update all stakeholders regularly
o Obtain firm commitments on lead times for all materials
o Manage the logistics and look for ways to reduce freight costs
o Review all acknowledgments in a timely fashion
o Regularly update salesperson as to the status of the project
• Review and approve installation drawings with Project Engineer
o Train Project Engineers as to key elements that must be contained in prints
o Review special requirements with installation subcontractor prior to start date
o Work with sprinkler and electrical contractors to ensure turnover / access dates
o are met.
• Meet with Manager, Remediation and Installation to review current projects
o Maintain updated Project Pricing Summary (PPS) sheets
o Maintain updated project schedule
• Ensure that the customer is invoiced per the agreed terms
• Obtain customer sign-off
o Address any punch list items
o Review project with Manager, Remediation and Installation
• Create tools within the department to improve efficiency
• Perform general administrative duties (PPS reports, Project Log, Expense Reports)
