Kelly Services is currently looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist for the Bakersfield area.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Specialist will have responsibilities in all human resources functional services to include the areas of employee relations, recruiting, compliance/auditing, training and development, disciplinary action, immigration compliance, communication, FLSA determination and job description/classification. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of functions within the Human Resources Department in order to deliver human resources services to management and its employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
* Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented
* Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
* Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
* Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
* Establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
* Good to excellent grammar and written communication skills
* Must have a knowledgeable understanding of Labor Laws to ensure compliance
* Must be a people person, professional and approachable
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
