Security and Cabling Solutions (SCS) is a leading company providing electronic security systems including Video Surveillance, Alarms and Electronic Access Control. SCS prides itself in using cutting edge technology to provide custom integrated solutions to our clients. Many of our systems are IP based but we still service and install analog systems. SCS is looking for the right candidate to grow with our company. This candidate will possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of AC and DC circuits
- Some Networking and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Construction basics and materials
- Strong skills with hand and power tools
- Clean Driving Record
We have multiple positions available, including a paid training position leading to field tech position, Field Technician positions. As well as a Lead Field Tech position.
Field Technicians are responsible for installation, programming and servicing different types of electronic security systems. The right candidates will be trained on the latest in security technology and video distribution and recording. Training is about six to nine months depending on the individual and learning curve. You must be a self starter with excellent organizational skills. Good customer service & communication skills.
Experience with the following systems is a plus: Bosch, Pelco, SoftwareHouse, Casi, Lenel, Ademco, ProWatch.
Strong ethics is a must; background and drug test are mandatory.
