Pacifica Senior Living is a 114 bed Memory Care Community.
This position provides full-scope, hands on cooking and management in
our Food & Beverage program responsible for maintaining a superior
level of quality, service, and cleanliness at all times. Position will
successfully manage in a cost structure environment to meet budgetary
goals in the area of Food and Beverage budget and labor guides. Success
factors are the combination of skills, attributes, and behaviors that,
when applied, produce individual and organizational success.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop, monitor and maintain effective staffing and retention plans.
• Provide leadership, training and development for staff.
• Research, plan, develop, produce and serve menu cycle programs that
are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by
local guidelines.
• Meet or exceed established budgetary, financial guidelines.
• Exemplify at all times standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
• Responsible for hands-on, direct cooking as necessary.
• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ensure professional, trained, well groomed, and upbeat cook, dish staff.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
Non Essential Job Functions:
From time to time may assist in the performance of other duties as
assigned to, but not necessarily limited to, dishwashing including the
proper washing, sanitation and maintenance of pots, pans, sheet pans,
cutlery, cutting boards, china, glassware, flatware, and other food
service related equipment.
