I am a 25-year old female, 2011 UVA graduate with highest distinction, who is a certified high school teacher looking for the opportunity to continue working with Harrisonburg (and Rockingham County) students throughout the summer vacation. I am very skilled in teaching both SAT and ACT as well as in helping students prepare and apply for college. In the past several years, my students have achieved "dramatic growth" on their college entrance exams, have gained full rides to Stanford and Duke (and many more colleges), and have garnered amazing scholarships (such as the Gates Millennium Scholarship, as an example).
