Overview
Our formula for success: aim high, train hard, and transform
lives teaching in a community where you choose to build your career in
education.
TNTP's Indianapolis Teaching Fellows and Michigan Teacher Corps
programs provide pathways for accomplished professionals and recent
graduates to commit to
becoming exceptional teachers in our most disadvantaged communities.
With hands-on training, our teachers develop the skills to hit the
ground running and
continue improving for years to come.
Who We Want
We seek outstanding candidates with the dedication and knowledge required to teach high-need STEM subject, especially science.
You may have built a successful career in healthcare, finance or
engineering, and now wish to give back as a teacher. Or you could be a
recent graduate who
wants to share a passion for mathematics, computer science or
physics with students. Whatever your background, you believe that every
student can excel in
math and science and you will do whatever it takes to help them get
there.
"
Teaching is a lot of work. You'll be exhausted, but this is your
opportunity to change the lives of so many children. Who else besides a
teacher gets
to make that kind of difference every day?"
-- Kelsey Rieck, 2012 Teaching Fellow
