Eye Associates of the South uses the state-of-the-art Ziemer FEMTO LDV "Z-LASIK" laser to create the corneal flap - the first step in the few-minute LASIK laser eye surgery procedure.

LASIK reshapes the cornea of the eye with a cool laser to correct nearsighted and farsighted vision problems, including astigmatism. For the LASIK procedure itself, we use the CustomVue system with a state-of-the-art VISX Star Excimer Laser. This is the gold standard of the industry.
