Ruthie Harper, MD, is a leading physician in the areas of non-surgical aesthetics, DNA-based skin care solutions, nutritional medicine, and optimal health and wellness. Dr. Harper developed the SKINSHIFT® line of skin care products and nutritional supplements to improve the health and appearance of your skin as well as your overall health.

Dr. Harper began her career as a Board Certified Internist and was later promoted to Emergency Room Director at Doctor's Hospital of Jefferson in Louisiana where she quickly realized that traditional medicine provides ways to treat the symptoms of disease, but is not designed to prevent disease or regain optimal health. She retraced her medical training back to basic biochemistry, realizing that if a person had perfect cellular function, they would be optimally healthy and disease free.

This knowledge led Dr. Harper to research and develop scientifically based health and beauty products that move beyond temporary fixes that use drugs or other technologies and transform both the health and the appearance of patients worldwide.

Dr. Harper founded Nutritional Medicine Associates, her internationally recognized practice in Austin, Texas, in 1999. Since that time, she has consulted with more than 10,000 patients and offers the latest services and techniques in health, wellness, non-surgical aesthetics and skin care. Her ongoing success serving the health and beauty industries is based primarily on her innovative integration of research, nutritional science and advanced aesthetics. Dr. Harper provides patients with scientifically developed health protocols that transcend the temporary fixes offered by pharmaceuticals or other traditional medical treatments and utilizes innovative programs which focus on nutrition, supplements, lifestyle changes, bioidentical hormones and breakthrough beauty treatments.
